      <description>&lt;P&gt;In my organization, we send many mails through through SAS automatically. So it makes sense to write a macro/function for this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Before starting to write my own it would be awesome if you could share what you/others have done in this front that you know of and that could work as a inspiration or even template.       <description>&lt;P&gt;You may want to consider using the mailing capabilities of any job schedulers you are using with SAS. If the purpose of the email is merely to notify the completion of a SAS job or that an error has occurred, then mailing from a scheduler doesn't require any coding at all.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Obviously if you are mailing for other purposes then you will need to mail from SAS itself.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
