warning: WARNING: Argument 1 to function TRANSLATE referenced by the %SYSFUNC or %QSYSFUNC macro function is out of range.

Is this warning something I should be concerned about if when I %put my macro variable, it seems to be what I expect it to be?

Run this command, and then run your code again:

options mprint symbolgen mlogic;

Then show us the whole log (or at least two whole PROCS or two whole DATA steps before these errors and including these errors), so we can see the code and the ERRORs, WARNINGs and NOTEs; not these very brief parts of the log which tell us nothing. Copy the log as text, then preserve the formatting by pasting the log as text into the window that appears when you click on the </> icon here in the SAS communities. DO NOT PROVIDE THE LOG ANY OTHER WAY.

Very few warning scan be ignore (for example those about title size).

Your code should be warning free.
