Have you tried SAS - OnDemand for Academics? That doesn't require you to install any software.

If your company/institution wants to evaluate DI Studio, get in touch with your local SAS representative to arrange a test installation or demonstration. You also might contemplate doing one of the Dara Management courses, but they're not free AFAIK.

BTW SAS is an interpreted language, there is no compiler.

@Kurt_Bremser, I've always understood that SAS actually is a compiled language. I believe that SAS is in fact compiled because of things like the ability to save a compiled SAS program.
