&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; As &lt;a href="https://communities.sas.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/11562"&gt;@Kurt_Bremser&lt;/a&gt; explained, it is very useful to know what the macro variables contain and what type of resolution you expect that you're not getting. When I use my own values with those macro variables, I find that the macro facility resolves the variable values correctly both with and without the space before the use of &amp;amp;TYPE.&lt;/P&gt;
