Thanks for your reply. It was indeed the scheduler's problem... some default settings prevented it from running the task when the device was on Battery.

Hi All, I am trying to automate a process in SAS8.3 Enterprise guide and SQL database. My SAS program pulls the data from SQL Database, performs some Proc SQL & Data Steps and pushes the cleaned data back to SQL table. I want to automate this process and schedule it to run on a weekly basis. I tried basic scheduling of Enterprise Guide process flows and projects:-

“File” -> “Schedule Project” or click on “Schedule” the workspace and then select “Project” or “Process Flow”. This opened up my operating system scheduler and I am able to see my scheduled task but it never gets executed. Being a beginner in SAS , I am clueless about how to proceed further and possibly debug the situation.

If the task is scheduled in the scheduler then it is a scheduler issue. What does the scheduler display?
