&lt;P&gt;In order for a SAS function to be passed down to a database it must be passed down to the database. The following SAS statement will display the SQL that is sending to the database:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;OPTIONS SASTRACE=',,,d' SASTRACELOC=SASLOG NOSTSUFFIX;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can see an example of it in this SGF workshop I delivered.
