That's an odd demand. How many abbreviation do you have in mind?

I don't think your idea is possible btw.

It is awesome with code prompts when programming.

Thanks Chris sharing a useful method to create one abbrevation for one snippet.

https://blogs.sas.com/content/sasdummy/2017/07/03/sas-program-editor-tricks/

It takes time to copy code and add abbrevation for each snippet. If I want to create the abbrevations or prompts for all sas code snippets in batches, how to do?

Do you actually intend to copy one user's shortcut settings to another user?

Yes, does it work to copy user's shortcut settings? copy sth from which folder? copy my shortcut setting from my pc and paste in company pc.

There is another method, a teacher shown it in a training class serveral years ago(sorry, I can't remember now), who imports his sample code into sas, when type a word( which is also in the sample code), then code snippet is displayed, you can pick them in your editor.

sorry for my odd demand, could you offer some suggestions or exmples which can save time to re-use your code quickly rather than opening your code in an editor, copying and pasting them in a tradtional way.

This will depend on the user interface being used: Display Manager, Enterprise Guide or SAS Studio.
