Why mycode saving is up to 1GB???

Hi SAS Users,

I do not know why my code in SAS EG is up to 1GB, it is really unfamiliar to me. Can you please explain why it can happen and how to reduce the size of it if available?

Do you have any output results in the project (with proc print, or any similar procedure generating output data)?

Do you print out datasets which have several thousands of observations and plenty of variables?

Because from my understanding, when I close the program and reopen the code again, the results automatically disappear?

Dataset disappear, tables written by proc print, report and/or tabulate are stored in the project file.

EG -> tools -> options -> results general

and see if the "automatically add output data to the project tree" is on?
