      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;My response on whether SCL is part of Base is: sort of. Some of the functions that are listed as SCL functions will actually work in Datastep programming. Other bits work with registry entries or window commands.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Generally though SCL is more associated historically with AF and FSP and is designed for writing more interactive applications. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
