If you are having Kernel errors on the first time you run SAS, I would contact SAS Technical Support, they will be able to straighten this out.

Hi @ganeshsas764,

I get exactly the same error messages if I change the setting of the SASUSER system option in my SAS configuration file so that the path name is invalid. So, I would check the line(s) beginning with

-SASUSER

in the relevant configuration file(s). See How SAS Finds and Processes Configuration Files for possible locations of these files (typical name: sasv9.cfg) and, in an earlier section on the same page, where to find the default configuration file.

You will need to check the -SASUSER setting in your SAS configuration file(s)

What may have happened is that -SASUSER is pointing to a network drive that became unmapped.
