For anyone currently experiencing this in SAS University Edition:

I simply copied all my code and pasted it to a text editor then logged out.

Relaunched it, created a new program, pasted the code back in, and it saved successfully.

Did it work before?

Are you using SAS University edition or a full version of SAS?

If the former did you recent upgrade Virutual Box software? There is a known issue with that upgrade not working.

If the latter you might need to double check the permissions on the folder you are trying to write to. Do you have write access to the folder? Do you have read access to the parent folder? Can you save files in that location using some other tool?
