Hello All,

I wanted to check if anyone tried to have default program header in a new sas system program generated. (i.e) when you create new sas system program by rightclick>new> sas system program in windows machine.

Note: I was able to achieve this via keyboard macros and others. But looking for more efficient way

Thanks in advance,

Mani.

I guess how to implement depends on the SAS client/editor you're using.

With SAS EG8.2 (and likely also with SAS Studio) one way to go:

1. Create a snippet for the header with a keyboard shortcut assigned

2. Open a new program window and press the keyboard shortcut

Thanks Patrick. I'm looking to see if it can be automatically loaded when new sas program is generated. I have heard it's possible .

Let us know if you find such a solution and how it's done. Please also be clear for which SAS client or editor in which version this solution applies.
