topic Class not registered error trying to connect using IOM Local OleDb provider from C# in SAS Programming

Hi

I have a C# app which makes a connection to a local library using the SAS IOM Data Provider.

This has worked perfectly for many clients over many years.

However, recently we have had two clients who receive "Class not registered" messages when the connection is attempted.

The connection string is simply "Provider=sas.IOMProvider;Data Source=_LOCAL_"

I know the provider is there because the code checks for it.

In fact the client has three providers installed 9.20, 9.44 and 9.46.

They also have full SAS 9.4 installed.

I have 9.43 and 9.46 drivers and SAS 9.4 installed with no issues.

Any suggestions please?
