&lt;P&gt;But I would get back to the source of the dataset file and have them resend the file, it seems to have been damaged during the transmission.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

However, I got the following error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"filename"&amp;nbsp;is shorter than expected use PROC&amp;nbsp;DATASETS; REPAIR to fix it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I kindly ask you to help me&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I have tried and got the following error:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: File "filename" is damaged. I/O processing did not complete.&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: Library member "filename" could not be repaired.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Then you need a valid copy of the file. When REPAIR can't get it right, it's toast. It might even be that you have a .sas7bdat file of size 0.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
