I AM GETTING THIS ERROR MESSAGE;

ERROR: Assign for SASHELP.CORE catalog failed during SAS System

ERROR: initialization.

ERROR: Library SASHELP does not exist.

It looks like your configuration is not correct.

This:

ERROR: Library SASHELP does not exist.

means that the library points a path that does not exist.

Run:

%put %sysfunc(pathname(SASHELP));

to see the paths used.
