I assume, but I'm not sure, it will tell you the macro variable &amp;amp;report is not resolved.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Hey,&lt;BR /&gt;
I can't figure the difference between these two functions:&lt;BR /&gt;
%BQUOTE and %NRBQUOTE.  &lt;BR /&gt;
In the book they said the later can in addtion mask &amp;amp; and % But I used the former with no error using SAS Version 9.1&lt;BR /&gt;
options symbolgen;&lt;BR /&gt;
%let text=%BQUOTE(Joan's &amp;amp; % Report);&lt;BR /&gt;
%put &amp;amp;text;&lt;BR /&gt;
%let text=%nrbquote(Joan's &amp;amp; Report);&lt;BR /&gt;
