Hi!

I am a new SAS user and whenever I try to create an Excel file the following error comes up:

ERROR: The path /Users/meghnaroy/Desktop/SASUniversityEdition/myfolders/M.XLSX is not in the list of accessible paths when SAS is

in the lockdown state.

ERROR: No body file. HTML output will not be created.

I have tried to various ways posted on the community but nothing has helped. I have tried Xlsx as well as xls but nothing seems to work and my folder is a shared folder.

Please help!

Thank You!

Within the SAS UE virtual machine, the correct path to the shared folder is /folders/myfolders, not the path that you use from your Mac.

Using SAS UE - sas university edition - the path should start as "/folders/myfolders/..." and not

     "/Users/meghnaroy/Desktop/SASUniversityEdition/myfolders/...".

Write click on the folder as displayed in SA UE and choose properties.
