Hi,

I am trying to import a .xlsm file using proc import. in my .xlsm file I have a column of type Number. but, the number is captured in Commax (Nordic format: -100.00,00).

when I run the proc import, this value is getting ignored/missing. Could you please to have a solution on this?

Thanks in advance!

br,

Selvan

This is an ongoing problem.

Excel is just not a good data storage format.

What's really needed is a way to import everything as character strings.

In the meantime, you'll have to modify the Excel file and try to set the column as a different data type, or add a row with letters.
