      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I generated a report using PROC REPORT, and I'd like to merge the cells in the upper top left portion.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;These are merged when proc tabulate is used.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;proc report data=sashelp.cars; &lt;BR /&gt;column make invoice type ,drivetrain ;&lt;BR /&gt;define make /group;&lt;BR /&gt;define type/ across ;&lt;BR /&gt;define drivetrain/ ' ' across ;&lt;/P&gt;
