topic Generic Question on counts in SAS Programming

Hi,

In an example, if the production programmer has a count of 75 and a validator programmer has a count of 76. What are the ways to handle this or how to check the which count is right? This is in generic sense.

Any inputs are appreciated.

Thank you,

Regards,

Nasya

Generically, you need to actually look at the data being used (open the SAS data sets and see with your own eyes what is in there), and try to determine why there is a difference.

Additional debugging steps: if your code has multiple PROCs or multiple DATA steps, or a combination thereof, then look at the outputs from each PROC or DATA step to see if you can identify where the error is happening.
