Thanks for the answer,

I have tried to follow the steps from the link, by changing SASUSER "?FOLDERID_Documents\ My SAS Files\9.4" to c:\users\user-ID\documents\My SAS Files\9.4, still I get the error, I tried to uninstall and reinstall again, still get the same message.

I've tried to follow various suggestion from online but still get the same issue, so now I have decided to wait until see the expert to help me physically or if I will get another instructions to try alone it will be helpful.

Thanks for sharing, @PeterClemmensen. It have worked fine for me. But there's an important point that need to be noticed for those, like me, that need to use another language... in this case We need to adjust the path in SAS User settings in each one of the languages folder. If you adjust the settings only in English folder (en) and try to open the Portuguese version (or any other language), the error will persist. You need to do the same step in each language folder you have.

This clue was the solution to my problems!

I was having the same issue because I was updating the wrong copy of the configuration file, my depot download came with 3, but I was only updating 1, after I went through and updated each one individually, SAS worked without these error codes!

I had the same problem and i followed the instructions but insists the problem.
The "ERROR: Invalid physical name for library SASUSER.
NOTE: Unable to initialize the options subsystem." disappeared but appears the following message:
"ERROR: Unrecognized SAS option name .
ERROR: (SASXKRIN): KERNEL RESOURCE INITIALIZATION FAILED.
ERROR: Unable to initialize the SAS kernel".
