When running the SAS Kernel with JupyterLab instead of Jupyter Notebook on my machine, the output looks as tidy as in the SAS University Edition (which also comes with JupyterLab; I just thought there wouldn't be a big difference between Notebook and Lab). This would be the answer to my question.

Unfortunately, when exporting to html (pdf does not work in case you have ods output), the result looks messy again and the SAS syntax highlighting is gone.

Hi,

After downloading and setting up the SAS kernel, I'm able to create and successfully run SAS notebooks (specification below).

Unfortunately, the table output looks a little messy (overlapping headings, stretched width etc.). Is there any way to configure the SAS kernel so that the output looks as clean as for example in the SAS University Edition?

To highlight the differences, I've execute the same code on my machine and in the SAS U Edition and attached screenshots of the following:

1) Code

2a) PROC MEANS/ PROC SGPLOT output:

Table is stretched to fill the whole width of the notebook. (This happens even in case of 2-column tables.)

Chart is left aligned instead of centered. (I can live with that. However, is there a way to change that?)

2b) PROC PRINT output:

Table headings overlap.

3) Log

I'm running Jupyter Notebook 5.7.4 on the same machine (Windows 10 Pro) as my local SAS installation (SAS 9.4 M4).

Any help is appreciated.

BR

Luhan
