creatign a libname; ERROR: File WORK.UTIL.DATA does not exist error

I imported data (.xls) file into SAS and know (at least pretty sure) I need to create a libname to access the data. I am not sure how to write this or determine the path of where the uploaded data is stored.

HOW did you import the xls file? Show code if possible. Otherwise describe options chosen using a wizard.

Also any time you get an error that you are asking about it is a good idea to copy the submitted code along with the error message(s) from the log and paste into a code box opened using the forum's {I} menu icon to preserve formatting of any error messages and diagnostic characters.

I used the file -> import, It looks like it is uploading correctly but when I use a proc contents it has no variables.

I know that I need something like a libref to access the files but I am not sure of the code.
