duplicate variable name in different sheet on excel

i have an excel with 2 sheets. in each sheet i have 5 or 10 variables. i have one variable name same for each sheet. My SAS code combine two sheets and generate a report with all the columns. so once i generate report, only one variable is displaying for the unique names in each sheet. how can i get the both names. the variable names are different each month.

When you say combine, how are you doing that (proc sql joins, data step merge or something else). You can give a condition during the process of combining the tables together. Eg you can use CASE WHEN to create a new variables on condition.
