I had a similar problem a while ago. After trying some things without success I called support and was prompted to reinstall the .OVA file. I had wanted to avoid this (and had just updated). It was pretty simple and headache free to do this. After that it worked fine. That is my suggestion.

This is better than poking around and trying for a solution to the specific error.

This has instructions for re-importing

https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Analytics-U/Importing-SAS-University-Edition-into-Virtual-Machine/td-p/413366

Do be sure to keep a copy of your SAS programs somewhere before doing this. They shouldn't be disturbed by the update but better to be sure of keeping your work.

No guarantees it will work for your situation -- but this is the first thing support will ask you to do anyway.
