Hi All,

I have just got a new laptop running windows-64 bit operating system.

I have installed SAS and most things are working, apart from the fact that when I double-click on a .sas it actually submits the code for execution instead of opening the code to view in SAS9.2.

Is there any way round this at all?

"right click" might offer a choice

among the SAS Utilities on the SAS group in the start menu, you should
find "Manage SAS File Types" which might allow you to reset the default behaviour.
Thanks Peter.

If I "right click" and "Open with SAs9.2 for windows" it does the same thing.

have tried the manage files but it just asks which program (SAS or EG) to associate file types with, not what to do with them.
