Hi Folks,

Our architects are in the process of building a huge new data solution on Azure for our company, and SAS will be the analysis tool of choice. However, the company have spent a lot of money getting the SAS Platform up as well as the new Azure solution, so there is practically no budget for new tools SAS wise.

I have been tasked to investigate how to get our current SAS 9.4 m6 (which is also on REHL on Azure) platform to connect to the ADLS gen2 to pull and analyse data in SAS. Currently we have the SAS Energy Forcast Platform (non viya) so the only connectivity is SAS ACCESS to ODBC.

Is this something that can be achieved?

Hi @teelov

I would say there isn't native access to ADLS on 9.4 Mx platform.

If you are looking for an official confirmation then it's good idea to raise a support track.
