How do I fix SAS Add-in 5.1 Task Gallery Error?

Greetings. Hope all is well.

I have an excel file opened, and I access the SAS toolbar menu.

I then go to "Quick Start" ---> "Task Gallery". I choose "Summary Tables" and click "OK".

Then I get the following error message:

Task initialization failed in DefineProperties: Server execution failed

This feature worked for me until two days ago.

Hi,

It's an old post so hopefully the issue is resolved.

It's possible that the issue was related to an expired licence on your compute tier (could be your local machine).

If the issue remains, you may want to turn on logging (Usage Note 17730 if you are using EG6.1 or earlier, Usage Note 55414 if you have EG7.1 or later), replicate the issue and email the log to your local SAS Technical Support.
