After loading the MS Access table, you could use SQL pass-thru to create PK, using MS Access syntax.
Hi all,

I am wondering if it's possible to export to access and maintain a primary key set up in SAS.

Our program uses SAS to merge several different files that are sent to us on a monthly basis. We then export to Access for further manual data entry, however, we want to maintain a primary key there. Right now, I've been doing it manually, but have forgotten to do so at least a couple of times, leading to problems. If I could automate it, it would help a lot!

The proc export function allows you to manipulate security values, but not much else.

I'm not very familiar with proc sql, but I'm wondering if there is something there that I can use.

Thanks!
