This problem is addressed in the latest version of the tagset v1.110.
The tagset has been submitted to our web administrator and should be available within a week.
SAS version? Tagset version? Any errors or warnings? What results do you get when you do not override with ODS destination - does a FREQ report get generated to SAS list? This information would be most helpful - also post your SAS code as well for feedback.
A problem using FREQ crosstabs with the ExcelXP tagset in 9.2 has been reported to Technical Support and verified by R&D. We're working on a solution.
Hi;
You could run a TABULATE step instead of FREQ. It won't give you quite the same look (no stacking), but you can get the same numbers.
Thanks for the replies.

We can now keep moving forward with our transition to SAS 9.2.

I had decided not to mention the PROC TABULATE option to my user as a solution. I wasn't up for the negative comments on a working program in the older version and now having to move to a new PROC.
