  As far as I know, BALANCE is unique to TABLE templates and does not work outside of that context. The only option that is at all similar is the ability to specify UNIFORM as an ODS PDF option, but it does not do exactly the same thing as BALANCE -- UNIFORM just ensures that all columns are the same width and thus, would put the same number of columns on a page.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
  If you are dealing with very wide tables and proc report, there is a previous forums posting that shows how to alter various style atttributes to make the output fit on a landscape page. With HTML, you should not have an issue. The issue comes in with "paged" destinations, like RTF and PDF.&lt;BR /&gt;

  If you search for "very wide" using the forum search capability, you should find the discussion and program example.&lt;BR /&gt;
