The file getting from Send to > Excel is not really an Excel file because it does not accept the pre-defined cells' format i.e. font or board format.

Hi,

When opening a SAS dataset in SAS EG4, we can use Ctrl+A to select all the data and then copy. However when pasting the data in Excel, it only pastes the actual data value and drops column names. Does anyone know how to get the column names when using this method to export data to Excel? Thanks!

Right click on the dataset in the project explorer, and select Send to > Excel.
