topic Removing leading and trailing lines before and after image. (ODS GRAPHICS, ODS RTF). in ODS and Base Reporting

(SAS 9.4M2) I am using ODS RTF with BODYTITLE option. When creating graphs with SGRENDER (and likely with other SG procedures), by default, there are extra lines inserted before and after the image, see screenshot below. I've manually deleted the image for space saving of this post. Is there anyway to remove these blank lines in order to allow for extra space for the image itself or extra titles and footnotes.

You can try switching to tagsets.rtf with the option VSPACE

ods tagsets.rtf style=test1 OPTIONS(vspace="NO");

You may also want to use Proc template to modify the PARSKIP option to reduce the fontsize between tables (it appears that graphs are in a "table" for this purpose).

tagsets.rtf doesn't quite support all of the rtf options like BODYTITLE so you may have to make some tradeoffs.
