topic SAS Constellation Applet Question in ODS and Base Reporting

Hello,

I have been trying to draw networks using the %ds2const macro and the constellation java applet. It looks impressive, but I have not been able to get the desired results. When I run an example from SAS documentation, the network is missing some features - labels and some node symbols. There is also a strange "dummy" node with no symbol in the center which is not included in the source data and has 8 red links going into it.

The example i ran along with expected screenshot:
http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/getDoc/cs/graphref.hlp/a002501056.htm#a002497336

Screenshot of what I get:
http://www4.ncsu.edu/~phustak/constellation.jpg

I am using:
SAS 9.1.3 SP4
Constellation Applet v 9.0
Windows XP Pro (Czech)
Opera 9.20 - with results described above
Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.8 - with results described above
Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 - I was not able to run the applet with iex. I get the security toolbar and when i click "allow" i end up with error message "There was a problem with the Java applet or Plugin in your browser. The graphic cannot be displayed."

Do you have any ideas about the problem? Thanks,
Hi,

I have resolved the problem. I was using an outdated constellation applet. With version 9.1.4.3... the networks work now.

Thanks,
