Hello

I'm using SAS 9.3 and generally use E.Guide 5.1

I'm creating PDF reports using ODS PDF and I'm now attempting to add some order to the table of contents. Some of my reports can be very large so the end user needs a decent table of contents to jump to their relevant section.

I can create single node contents using PROC PRINT but when I use PROC REPORT it creates an additional node with the text "Table 1". You can see this in the code attached where I was aiming to collapse the TOC to 1 node also use CONTENTS="" to eliminate the second node.

How do I get rid of the "Table 1" node created by Proc Report?

When it's generated in the third node position, how do I edit it?

The paper I've been referencing is http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings11/252-2011.pdf.

PS - for base SAS you need to add NOWD to the proc report and disable the HTML from Tools/Options/Preferences/Results

Hi: This Tech Support note has a full code tab with a way to get rid of the extra TABLE 1 node that is created. http://support.sas.com/kb/31/278.html
cynthia

Hi:
I don't think there are a lot of papers. The ODS DOCUMENT documentation or working with Tech Support is your best bet and it makes a difference, I think whether you are using SAS/GRAPH or ODS GRAPHICS.

cynthia
