I wrote code to produce PDF reports (Ent. Guide 5.1, SAS 9.3) which works fine. However as I am frequently asked for the same report in excel I would like the same proc print/proc report to simultaneously output to Excel (multiple destination ODS). I attempted to introduce tagset.Excelxp steps within the existing code however I get "ERROR: Absolute layout is supported only for ODS PRINTER".

Is what I'm attempting possible to achieve?

Example attached, ODS tagset statements are commented out.

(I realise that the tagsets-Excel method omits the charts from my example)

Thank

If you are using ODS LAYOUT within your code, then the error message is telling you the problem. Not all destinatins support ODS LAYOUT. You might need to have 2 separate steps for each destination.

cynthia
