      <title>Digital Marketing connection problem</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we have been deploying SAS 9.4 on new servers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is metadata server, compute server, midtier server and VA server. All SAS software has been installed and now i want to make some final configuration - in Digital Marketing to be exact.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Problem is i cant connect to DM server...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is what i do:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- on Compute server (which should contain DM technical components) i run DMStudio using this path&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/config/Lev1/Applications/SASCustomerIntelligence/SASDigitalMarketing/studio&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- in DMStudio i fill in the Midtier server and sasadm internal account (thats where port 9221 is opened)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="DM_connect.JPG" style="width: 468px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://communities.sas.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/28524i8E5EF31429611BA5/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="DM_connect.JPG" alt="DM_connect.JPG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- but is fails to connect (connectivity between Compute and Midtier server is working, so is the port)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="DM_error.JPG" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://communities.sas.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/28525iC7AAC1AF057B1351/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="DM_error.JPG" alt="DM_error.JPG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone please explain what am i doing wrong, or which log should i look into to give me a hint? (i looked at logs with my knowledge, but DM logs on Midtier show nothing new, nor did i find something elsewhere).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was installing according to SAS plan they provided, but what can i do to make sure this approach to connect to DM is correct? Like if the servers have all the right components to make this work...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Appreciate any help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Lukas.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
