There are no fast ways as such to learning SAS, anymore than any other programming or spoken language (or in fact any other topic). You need to learn logic and semantics, then develop that into more advanced programming paradigm, learn to model data, how documentation is more important than programming etc. In terms of learning there is:

https://video.sas.com/category/videos/how-to-tutorials

And the Little SAS book is quite popular:

https://www.sas.com/storefront/aux/en/splsb/65423_excerpt.pdf

And there is also certification.

To advance from that however requires time and patience, you never know everything and should always be learning.

This forum also has a lot of helpful information.

My usual reference to start learning sas is the Programming 1 e-Learning Course

provided by SAS Institute for free 🙂
