Total Batch and CPU hours per month

Dear SAS Gurus,

I am totally new to SAS and I need your help to determine some statistics for our total batch and cpu hours consumed per month.

We are running on SAS 9.2 on the mainframe with mxg.

I ran a report against RMFINTRV to determine the CECSUSEC and CPUOVHTM but I do not know subsequent steps to make a formula and get the actual stats.

set detail.mfintrv;

if date = '01jan2018'd;

proc print split = '*';

var date hour system cecsusec cpuovhtm;

endsas;

Can you please assist me ?

Please provide an example of your dataset (data step with datalines, see my footnotes).

Since your code subsets to a single day, there is no sense in getting a monthly report out of it.
