Dear All,

We have a 2 environments PROD & DEV and both are single tier environments.

For our Dev environments one of our SAS Admin, used PROD license at the time of installation, Now we got renewal SID for both PROD & DEV environments.

I am trying to renew the DEV environment with updated DEV renew SID file, but it was failing due to site number mismatch.

So is there is option to update the existing license SID file in Metadata with DEV is number / is there any to skip site number validation while renewing the DEV SID file?

its an LINUX environment. Any help on this would really appreciate!

If the two licenses are identical (same products licensed) then the dirty way would be to use again the Prod license.

To clean this up best contact SAS TechSupport directly.
