The server doesn’t inherently track cluster tables. You can determine whether cluster tables are defined by looking in the METAPATH= directory of each domain defined in the libnames.parm parameter file. There will be a .cdf file for each cluster table in a domain. When opening a table, the server tests whether metadata is stored in a .cdf file or an .mdf file to know if it is a cluster table or a regular table.
