Hello everyone,

I am trying to install the local version of SAS, but the installation always gets stuck at the second step related to the Deployment Manager. However, I followed the instructions carefully, but it still does not work.

I am using Windows 11 and my license is valid. Has anyone experienced this issue or has a solution?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Don't be surprised if you end up having to get your IT staff involved and talking with a SAS tech representative. Some of the policies that organizations have imposed on users may prevent writing to the locations that the SAS install requires.

Check with your IT folks to see if your Windows account has the right permissions to install software. Many organisations restrict this permission. Also you could right-click on SAS's setup.exe and try "Run as administrator" if you haven't done so already.
