Slow SAS VA performance

HI Team,

Hope all doing Good!

Our platform has 2 tier architecture 1.meta with web tier and 2.Compute tier.

Till now we are connecting to SAS VA in internet browser of Citrix server where we are facing the performance issue now.

We tried to run VA in SAS server internet browser but adobe flash is not running up here so We can't connect to SAS VA.

It may be due to the security purpose adobe flash is not setup in internet browser in SAS server.

Now to fix the slower performance issue we need to fix the issue in server internet browser.

Here by,We would like to know that, is there any way to run the SAS VA without Adobe flash setup.?

If Yes, Please let us know the way how we can connect to VA from SAS server itself..

Did you try running it using some other browser, may be chrome? I have seen this issue and after enabling Adobe Flash Player on browser, it worked fine for me.

We can't access it without using Adobe flash setup as this is one of the basic system requirements. Refer to below links where it is mentioned that "To view the contents of this page, you must install Adobe Flash Player version 11.1.0 or later".

We can connect directly from server but again some web browser will be required to be launched from server with Adobe Flash Player setup.

Many Thanks for your response @manishiiita.

As Adobe Flash supports Classic mode home page and HTML5 supports Modern mode, we changed to Modern mode and then tried.

Here we are able to log in to VA but can't open any report here. We are getting error as To view the content of this page you must install Adobe flash.

That means, what ever you have mentioned may be correct. Without Adobe flash we can't run VA.

if any chance to fix it please let us know.

Yes, as SAS recommends 'To view the contents of this page, you must install Adobe Flash Player version 11.1.0 or later', I don't think you will be able to view contents without installing it. You can check with SAS Support, they may suggest some alternatives, if any.
