    <description>&lt;P&gt;1) Show your SAS code. Preferably with a small set of data if needed that duplicates the problem.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A quick search shows that your mentioned IRAF is likely to be third party (non-SAS) software. So the issue may well be in that&amp;nbsp;software.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Floating Point Overflow error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm using the imexamine command on IRAF to record some values of the stars in a picture. However after my 48th star, I get an error saying;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ERROR: floating point overflow&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've restarted the program and it only allows me to do one point. I've even tried recording the values of the star in another file and the same error shows up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any way to overcome this error?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
