We recently wrapped up an exciting chapter in our journey of innovation and data-driven transformation with the Hackathon Champ of the Champ in Thailand — a high-energy, 72-hour data science competition that brought together some of the sharpest minds in analytics.

🚀 About the Hackathon

Hosted by the SAS team, this hackathon was designed to challenge participants with a real-world, high-impact business problem — all within a compressed 3-day time frame. With 29 participants across 10 teams, the event was an intense blend of problem-solving, collaboration, and competition.

The challenge, titled "Fundraising Using SAS Viya," asked participants to analyze a diverse dataset of individuals and develop models to maximize donation outcomes while minimizing outreach costs. It required a deep understanding of both human behavior and data analytics — the perfect mix of science and strategy.
