    <description>&lt;P&gt;As a minimum you should show the SAS code and any messages from the log so we have at least some chance of seeing what connection options were attempted and possibly address.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Installing drivers may not be enough. If you are attempting to use ODBC for connection then you need to make sure that your system is set up to connect using that channel, and likely well outside the SAS side of things.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I have installed Oracle drivers and am trying to add a new “data source” as “oracle”&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is on Sas Viya 4 (2023.03) on aws.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The connection to the data source driver failed.&lt;BR /&gt;General error ORA-12504: TNS:listener was not given the&lt;BR /&gt;SERVICE NAME in CONNECT DATA&lt;BR /&gt;( There was a problem testing the co source driver failed. View details&lt;BR /&gt;Function failed.</description>
