      <description>Please run the sas code in the linux environment and a log file will be generated with the same name as that of the sas file name except that the file extension would be different.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To view the sas Log on the Linux system you may use an editor like "vi" :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Command :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;vi &amp;lt;logname&amp;gt;.log&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;or&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just to display the contents of the log use the command :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;cat&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;logname&amp;gt;.log&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You are running&amp;nbsp;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;what&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt; SAS in Linux, is it desktop, EG, UE etc.&amp;nbsp; You should see the log for any submitted code in the various log windows within the system.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
