&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You get more response if you give a bit of context.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Not everybody is working in the same sector / area as yourself.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I had to look up what it was :&amp;nbsp;"Slope Index of Inequality" (maybe it's because I'm not American, maybe it's widely known in the US?).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;And hierarchical regression can also mean lots of things : it can be about the way variables enter into the model (respecting hierarchy or not), it can be about multi-level modelling, it can be other things.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you give a bit more context?&lt;/P&gt;
