Many of us will not open .xslx files (or other Microsoft Office files) because they can be a security risk. Perhaps you could post your data as a .csv (comma separated) file.

But, there are other items missing from your description that prevent us from providing an answer. You want to see if location affects depression. Is depression the "sick" people and lack of depression the "healthy" people? Or is depression something else? Are there other variables you want to include, or just state and depression and healthy-not healthy?

You ought to be able to state clearly for us (even if you don't know the exact model) which variable is the response (Y) variable, and which variable(s) are the predictor (or X) variable(s). Please do so.

Hi - I have two files. They each contain the results of a study for depression. One set is for healthy people, the other for sick. The objective is to see if location (US state) is affects depression. I am having trouble figuring out what my model and class would be. Files are attached below.

Thanks for your help.
