Hi:
This looks like it might be a Case Study that you do when you are using our SAS Academy for Data Science classes or one of our other classes that use a Virtual Lab with a 😧 drive.

If you are working with SAS classes, it is useful to know the name of the class you're taking and since many classes have more than one Case Study, exactly which Case Study you're doing. Typically, the Data Management work uses either DataFlux Data Management Studio or some of the classes use Data Integration Studio. Can you explain a bit more about your class and the exact Case Study you're trying to do.
Thanks,
Cynthia

HI:
There is a separate forum for the Data Science Academy. However, as I remember the Case Studies, there is a Visual Analytics Case Study, a Statistics Case Study and a DataFlux Case Study.

The Case Study data is all located on the 😧 drive of the Virtual Lab machine.

The Case Study data is stored on the 😧 drive of the Virtual Lab, as outlined in the instructions. The module for the Case Studies contains the solution for each of the 3 case studies. Have you looked at the solution videos?

Hi:

I had a chance to ask a few of the course instructors where you were going wrong. They advised me that you need to pick the top choice (Database file), NOT the second choice (Database connection). The Case Study files are all SAS datasets.

I was also asked to remind you about the process you went through to make the Demos repository and the Exercises repository in earlier chapters. If you go back and refresh your memory about creating those repositories, here's the feedback:

"This student needs to connect to the data in the D:\Workshop\CASESTUDY directory (which is done on the data riser bar as a SAS Data Set Connection). He can create a repository wherever. Or use an existing one. In the course leading to this case study we created a couple of repositories (one for Demos and one for Exercises) – he should be able to mimic the steps for these, and will be using “Database File” as well as the “File Storage” area."

So it sounds to me that if you go back and take a look at the steps for setting up the Demos and Exercises repositories, you'll have the steps you need to follow for the Case Study.
